Lots of arcade machines; a bit one-dimensional.
Hours can be spent in here on the 2p machines etc. The cafe is good, the rides at the end are fun, the toilets are always dark and there's only 2.
Good arcade. We came mainly to go bowling but the alley really needs an update i think and when the balls are returned they come really fast! A bit of a risk of getting hurt.
Certainly worth a walk through the arcade to see the fishermen at the end.The arcade itself looks dated and the snack bars smell pretty unhealthy.We played air hockey (first table was broken), played a couple of arcade games and tried a grab machine (which didn't work).
The pier has many memories for me as a child and has not changed much at all. I am worried about its future but I hope it can stay opened. I love the games room at the front and the cafe in the middle. Get a nice summers day and relax on the pier and enjoy the beautiful views.
