Every time we come to I.O.W, we make sure we visit Swad restaurant. The food is fantastic and the manager is very friendly. Thank you for the excellent service and also for making my little girl's birthday a special one.You can see a video I made of our experience at swad restaurant on my YouTube channel. From the 27th minute of the video, you will see swad restaurant.I fully recommend all visitors to I.O.W (and locals) to dine here and I also recommend the chicken lollipop in sauce - delicious.
Not at all Swad.. the raste wad sour. Bad experience. the manager/owner was drunk in the night when we were having dinner. He over charged us and then he rudely says I will return the overcharged amount in cash. Will not recommend All sauce were same for different dishes ordered. Ordered Chicken dopiaza and Lamb curry. Both were literally same apart from the lamb and chicken.
Went to this place for a dinner with few family and friends on 13th Oct 2018. Very dissappointing experience. The biryani was not like biryani at all. The rice was completely soggy and mashed up. The owner was completely drunk. The waiting time was more than an hour. Dissapointing customer service. All the food served had umpteen amounts of tomato puree rather than having masalas as found in a typical indian cuisine. The manager/owner was very rude and would not want to accept his mistake. He was more interested in watching the television than providing customer service.The billing was done wrong. They did not serve all the items which we ordered but added the items to the bill and overcharged us. We complained and the waiter tried his best to correct the errors but the owner charged us more than what is mentioned in the correct bill. Ridiculuous service. Would not at all recommend it to anyone.
This place just needs to learn customer service. Food is good but it's only let down by the moody staff. When I visited the restaurant it was empty but I was told to sit in the smallest table in the restaurant while I looked around at all the empty tables. Had to get up to get service from staff. I asked for a few items just be told you need to go to the mainland for that. Good food great price rubbish staff.
The food is fabulous! Seemed to be new staff on when we visited and they experienced some teething problems. That said, senior staff very helpful and kind. Decent priced meal c.20pp with drinks with starter and main.
