Lovely staff. Great family environment. And all reasonably priced

This is a really great place to eat. Staff are very friendly and can't do enough to help. The pub is clean and tidy throughout. The menu is varied. Very good value. The food is really great and very well presented. You could pay double their prices in some places and be happy as their food is of a very high quality. Especially the chips which are gorgeous. Crispy on the outside but soft inside. The pub is flat with only occasional very small slope. Wheelchair accessible throughout with a disabled toilet. There is an indoor kids area but you can sit at the opposite end of the pub without it bothering you. There is a small car park and a huge garden with seating. When we went for lunch it was very quiet which I thought was a shame for them as it was amazing food. I go here whenever I get the chance.

We had a large family Christmas party here today and it was brilliant. The staff were very helpful when I initially booked giving us the perfect table right by the play area and allowing a little bit of extra space...and on the day they exceeded all expectations... the food was all brought out in a timely manner, everyone got what they ordered from a quite unusual and very tasty menu and it was really delicious. All the children had a wonderful time in the indoor soft play area. We were particularly grateful that they didn't feel the need to rush us out, despite it being busy, so we had time to do presents and have a proper get together. We shall certainly be visiting again both with large and smaller numbers of us.

It's not a place I would go for a quiet lunch with my friend but it's a family pub and as such, it's very good at keeping the kids happy. I went with my daughter, her son's and their offspring, hence I'm a great- grandmother.Luckily it wasn't too noisy but feeling ashamed that my great-grandchildren had made so much mess with food on the floor, my grandchildren apologized to the staff, who were extremely caring young girls and reassured us that it was no problem. We also ate, which was very well presented and good food, although I would have preferred my minute steak baguette to have been more pink in the middle. All in all a happy lunch with friendly staff.

Not far from the sea front. A lovely little pub. Food was delicious and nice sized portions. Good choice for vegetarian and vegan diets.Staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.
