Set in a beautiful part of the island is this lovely campsite which is perfect for those who love caravaning.I have not actually stayed here but I live close by.No offence meant to anyone but I don't like caravaning, if I wanted to cart my home around then God would have made me into a snail.For those who love this way of holidaying then I would recommend this site. It's quiet, surrounded by wildlife - with the chance of seeing a nice red squirrel.
The staff are friendly, the site feels great, lots of open space for the kids. We keep returning. However the shop can't really be called a shop it has very little in it at high prices. Tesco express close though. The site is well placed to get to the attractions on the island. The shower blocks are clean but could do with a little updating. The pool is nice but although heated isn't the warmest. The playgrounds really do need a bit of attention now.
We had a fantastic 2 weeks in the Isle of Wight and couldn't fault the campsite at all. Lovely site with lovely walks and cycle routes nearby too. Our boys loved the pool and the play area. We will definitely be returning.
Lovely site. Very clean and well maintained. Pitches in avenues so does not feel too big. Very large pitches so doesn't feel overcrowded. Clean pool and surrounding terrace is great. Staff really helpful. Quiet in the evenings even though there are a lot of people here. Lots of attractions close by . Will come again
Amazing and massive campsite with everything and more that you need for a wonderful holiday. Lots of quiet pitches, abundance of clean amenities, a wee shop with tonnes of useful everyday camping items which also does food made by a chief with 30 years experience plus the site staff are all very friendly....Wow and ooh did I mention the gas heated swimming pool!
