Friendly hotel, good location in centre of Sandown. Excellent car parking. Family friendly. Amazing breakfasts.
If you are reading this review I CANNOT RECOMMEND THE WIGHT MORE HIGHLY.Lovely staff and accommodation. GREAT BREAKFASTS and a tucked away location close to the beach and town.Just spent Christmas there and it was exceptional to say the least. The food was of the highest standard possible and I now have the rest of the year to work off the weight I have put on.IT REALLY WAS A WIGHT CHRISTMAS AFTER ALL.
Amazing the staff help with anything and make sure their clients are looked after well.The pool is lovely and as for the food omg it's amazing.
One of the best 4 star accommodation I have stayed at.The Wight allows dogs and are very helpful.The staff are so helpful and very kind nothing is to much trouble for them.Breakfast is great as not self service it's waiter service and as I walk on sticks I prefer waiter service and yet again the staff are always asking if you have everything you need so helpful.They also have an indoor swimming pool which is open from 7.30am till 7.30pm I went swimming everyday at 8am and pool was loverly warm This was in December there is also sauna and other facilities. Would recommend this guest accommodation to anyone.It's value for money.
A warm welcome awaited us at this quirky B&B which looks tiny on the outside but goes on forever on the inside! Nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast is Epic, we've not needed lunch after! Thursday night Jazz was fab with old school musicians from the island coming together for a jam session and making us feel really welcome. Our room was newly decorated and immaculate with a new bathroom (shower only) toasty warm and a comfy bed and pillows.The swimming pool area is somewhat tired and perhaps lets the accommodation down, but overall it's great value for money. Good free parking too, which is important as there is next to no free parking throughout the Isle of Wight and more double yellows then I've ever seen anywhere else!Thank you team for a lovely stay. Special mention to the bar steward for an immaculate bar and old fashioned good service!
