Have recently returned from a 5 day Christmas break with my 7 year old granddaughter and her parents. Her father had a separate room while we shared a family room which was clean , spacious and comfortable. I know this sounds silly but I was really happy to find a wooden toilet seat in the bathroom as opposed to the usual flimsy plastic seats and the toilet paper was of a good quality. These little things mean a lot. The shower worked well too.Breakfast was substantial and hot with a good choice of food and the waitresses were very helpful as In fact all the staff were and nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was multi choice and very good.The reception area was comfortable and smart and I would have rated the hotel as more than 2 star. We were made to feel welcome and all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
Arrived at Wight bay hotel 23rd December for 5 days. Hotel was clean and very accommodating. Our room was spotless and cleaned every morning. Mat the assistant manager was amazing a real character. He entertained the guests and made us feel so comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was not very organised as the young staff did not have a clue, we were waiting over 40 minutes between in each course so they need to sort this out as well as the kitchenOverall a nice hotel...very welcoming and definatly come back. The entertainment was excellent.
Bit old fashioned. Only 2 sockets in room. Small TV. 1 radiator not working so bit cold but found us a free standing plug in 1. Comfy beds. Nice breakfast. Close to shops & beach
